A STYLISH champagne lounge has opened in the underused space above Riddleling Rack in Newton-le-Willows.
An invitation-only event took place on Thursday to celebrate the relaunch of the space above the trendy High Street coffee bar.
Since opening in 2018, Alex Myhill, co-owner of Riddling Rack, said the upstairs room was “underused and looked a bit like a reception hall.”
After adjusting to the changing circumstances throughout the pandemic, Alex said the team decided to “use the space, redecorate and set up booths.”
She added: “We are now able to divide the people and it has created a really nice and comfortable atmosphere upstairs.”
With their revamped lounge, the space will be used to host private events as well as Riddleling Rack’s popular wine tasting evenings and themed quizzes – two locking trends that haven’t stopped for the venue.
The extra space will also allow the team to attract more customers, expand their menu with a new kitchen, and continue their community-driven business model – which has seen the small team send out hundreds of tea deliveries. afternoon throughout the pandemic.
Alex sees the living room as another vibrant place for the people of Newton-le-Willows to relax and socialize after the hardships of the previous 18 months.
The Riddleling Rack launch event will consist of a mix of repeat customers and local businesses who all want to see the site thrive with their new business.
