Bloedlemoen (pronounced “Blue’d Le Moon”) is a small, local gin handcrafted in South Africa from ten natural plants, including the delicious Tarocco Blood Orange, making it proudly the world’s first Blood Orange gin. . The fruit is locally sourced from the Western Cape.
- 25 ml of Bloedlemoen gin
- 25 ml of Campari
- 25 ml of wholemeal cream with sherry
- 1 twist of orange zest garnish (pro tip: use a potato peeler)
Mix all the ingredients together and strain into a tumbler glass with a large block of ice. Take the twist and squeeze the oil onto the drink.
Grace Du Roi sparkling wines are a range of premium sparkling wines from Paarl in Cape Town. Grace wines are known for their lively bubble and refreshing green apple and pear character (with a hint of raspberry and cream for rosé wines). With Chenin Blanc as a base, the unique flavor largely comes from the cuvée (first press) of the grape – the result is a clean and delicate wine, with a sweet fruitiness. Grace wines have a delicate balance between acidity and sweetness.

- 60 ml orange juice
- 120ml Grace du Roi Sparkling Wine White Gold
Fill a champagne flute a third full with freshly squeezed orange juice and top with iced Grace du Roi White Gold.
Cape Velvet is the wine-based cream appetizer of South African origin, and it is known for its soft, creamy texture and delicious taste. Its creamy texture and versatility have earned it a prominent place in many local kitchens and bars.

- 50ml Abstinence Aperitif Lemon
- 200 ml of sparkling water (can be replaced by tonic)
- Lemon peel
Pour the Lemon Abstinence Aperitif over ice in a gin glass or wine glass. Top with soda and garnish with fresh lemon zest.
Just as our dear Cape Fynbos cannot exist without fire, no social occasion is complete without the intensity of Epilogue X Abstinence. It is a blend of three different malts – oak smoked malt, crystal malt and malt. dark roasted – which are meticulously blended with a combination of herbs and local honey to create a delicious alcohol-free, amber-colored spirit.

- 50ml of spice abstinence cap
- 25ml Abstinence Epilogue X
- 25 ml of Martini Rosso
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- Orange twist
Add Cape Spice Abstinence, Epilogue X Abstinence, Sweet Vermouth and Bitters to a mixing glass with ice and stir until well chilled. Filter into a cooled coupe and garnish with an orange zest.
