Lil Jon, who is obsessed with improving and designing the house, meets Torie and Greffin, who have an incomplete first floor that needs to be finished. Lil Jon and his partner-in-crime, Anitra, are tasked with transforming what was once a kid’s bedroom into something “grown-up and sexy” on a shoestring budget of $40-50,000. The couple discuss their desire to get out and how they would like to have a space in their home that matches that experience and feeling.

According to the couple, a wine cellar/bar area, space for the in-laws and a full bathroom were needed in a place that didn’t even have a front door. Lil Jon suggests turning the room into an expensive jazz club. The place turned out better than expected thanks to the original ideas of Lil Jon and the unique vision of interior designer Anitra. The children’s room has been moved under the stairwell so as not to disturb the atmosphere of the adults while remaining accessible to the parents. A sliding glass door was installed to allow natural light to enter the room. The common area has been designed with velvet, leather and wood to exude a rich ambience. The in-laws suite received a huge bespoke wallpaper to enhance the space.

Finally, Lil Jon and Anitra provided Torie and Greffin with a luxurious hotel, complete with a piano liquor cellar! What’s not to like about this VIP reinvention? !

The wine cellar, which was one of Torie’s desires, emerged elegantly. Lil Jon, who is well known for incorporating outlandish ideas into his restoration work (most of which work), offers to build a piano liquor cabinet for the room. Since every jazz parlor should have a piano, he suggests getting a piano, removing the legs, and installing it in the wall like a liquor cellar. And guess what? It worked! Even though Lil Jon’s crazy plans put a lot of pressure on carpenter pal Paddy, he manages to pull it off and ultimately please the couple.

The place gave people the funk but kept it light with a concrete floor and a custom ceiling. Lil Jon and his efforts outside the recording studio have surely impressed HGTV viewers who are still new to the show, which is in its third week. Some of them took to Twitter writing, “LIL JON WANT TO DO WHAT? IS MY NEW FAVORITE SHOW”

Another viewer wrote of their recent discovery, “Never thought I’d like to watch Lil Jon do home renovations, but here we are in 2022.”

Besides his sense of humor, Lil Jon managed to impress HGTV fans with what they listened to. One wrote on Twitter: “He’s hysterical but what an eye for design.”

Another person praised Lil Jon and Anitra for the remodel: “@[email protected] You knocked it out of the park. The wallpaper and the piano are amazing. Total chic jazz bar look. #[email protected]”
