Building. The cellar building was designed in 2010 by the architectural firm Burian-Křivinka. However, only a fragment of the cellar was built. The result, unfortunately, differs considerably from the project. The new owner wanted to recover the building from the cellar and open it to the public. The first step towards revitalization is the new wine bar in the space of the old warehouse.

Openings. The space needed to be lit and connected to the outdoors. We cut large openings located opposite each other. The spectator can thus see the house from the entrance. From the wine bar area, the viewer is offered two types of views – the close-up view of the vineyard and the distant scene of the Nové Mlýny reservoir. A hinged door opens onto the terrace, while a large all-glass bay window faces the other side, where one can sit with a drink in hand.

Surfaces. All interior surfaces were stripped and cleaned down to bare concrete. Excessively damaged areas are supplemented with a cement screed. The floor has a polyurethane finish in a shade of wine red with a wild texture. Visitors can focus on tasting without fear of spilling anything.

Furniture. All furniture is custom made from steel and oak wood in various shades. A gigantic elliptical chandelier hangs above the bar, part of the visual identity of the cellar. Guests can sit on a large bench that incorporates custom lamps. Their lampshades vaguely resemble a demijohn. The bench has a panel behind its back, which improves the acoustic comfort of the interior. On the opposite wall is a wine rack. The subtle construction consists of steel bars wrapped in leather straps. The separate living room is dominated by a large table and a circular wooden ceiling that hides acoustic panels and incorporates lighting. Soil samples from specific Reisten winery vineyards are displayed on the walls.

Terrace. The best place to sit is the large oak terrace, shaded by a shade sail. The terrace opens onto the neighboring vineyard and offers a view of the sunset over Děvín.
