Taste & Toast, Milwaukee’s Happy Hour Event, Returns March 7-11

Downtown Milwaukee will host a major happy hour event next month. Taste & Toast offers 17 restaurants, bars and lounges all offering appetizers and small plates at special prices. This promotion runs from March 7 to 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Food and beverage establishments participating in the event include Blue Bat Kitchen & Tequilaria, Central Standard Crafthouse & Kitchen, Cubanitas, DOC’s Commerce Smokehouse, East Town Kitchen & Bar, Flannery’s, Giggly Champagne & Wine Bar, The Knick, Oak Barrel Public House, Onesto, Pfister Lobby Lounge, SafeHouse, Smoke Shack, SportClub, Stella Van Buren, Third Street Tavern and Who’s on Third.

Celebrate the Unity Awards!

We honor individuals and organizations who have invested their energy, talent, and resources in making our city more equitable and inclusive for all on March 3 at the Latino Arts United Community Center.

The event menus are available on the Taste & Toast website. At Cubanitas, for example, you can choose from three entrees — a plantain platter with guacamole, an empanada meal with rice and beans, and mini guava-barbecue pulled pork sliders ($6-$8 ). Featured cocktails are a mojito, a Cubanitas margarita, a planter’s punch, and a virgin pina colada ($4 to $4.50).

Plus, two diners who complete the event experience survey (by Monday, March 14) will receive over $150 in catering gift certificates. The winners will be picked at random. Participants can find the survey here.
