Unvaccinated Haryana bars in public places and government offices


The Haryana government on Tuesday banned unvaccinated people from entering public places, including the wedding hall, hotels and banks. “Those who are not fully vaccinated will not be allowed in public places after January 1 – wedding hall, hotel, bank, shopping mall, government office, bus,” Health Minister Anil Vij said.

The state today reported 43 new cases of Covid, bringing the total to 7 72,271. The death toll from the viral disease has risen to 10,062 with one more death – reported in Sirsa district .

Among the districts, Gurugram, Panchkula and Faridabad reported 23, eight and six cases respectively. The number of active cases of the infection stands at 234 in the state, while the number of recoveries is 7,61,952.

Haryana Gurugam fully immunized 100% of its adult population and became the first district in the state to achieve this historic goal.

“Gurugram vaccinated two doses to 100% of its citizens against the coronavirus, Gurugram is the first district of Haryana to achieve this remarkable feat. 128% of citizens received the first vaccine while 100% also received the second dose. Thanks to Gurugram Citizens for their support, ”the Deputy Commissioner’s office said in a tweet.
